10 Ways to Practice Self-Care
1. Stop hating on yourself: stop focusing on the things you don’t like about yourself. It only makes you feel worse and affirms what you already believe, and it isn’t true. Instead shine the light on the things you like most about yourself.
2. Be at peace with being alone: being comfortable in solitude is a sign of inner peace and secureness. Be intentional with spending time by yourself. Listen to your inner voice, get to know yourself better, reflect on your where you are in life now but also where you would like to be.
3. Get rid of the things that aren’t serving you: Take a step back from anything that doesn’t uplift you, that makes you feel insecure, unhappy, unhealthy. Those things can include bad habits & addictions, toxic people, stressful job. Some things can’t be cleared of overnight, but make a plan and make it so you can be free of the negativity.
